Giving to Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church
Rooted in Gratitude
All we have is from God, and when we simply return His gifts in an attitude of gratitude, we are blessed! If you've been blessed, and are seeking to pass it on to others, consider giving to the work of the Kingdom here at CCPC! We've made it easy and confidential for you. Through givers like you, God faithfully provides the resources to sustain all that we do. We deeply appreciate your financial support.
We take seriously our role as stewards of your gifts and do our very best to use them with great care, wisdom and prayer. Our Finance Committee and Session (Board of Elders) both provide oversight of the church's finances. Each party regularly receives and reviews our financial reports. In addition, we participate in an annual audit conducted by Poysti & Adams, LLC. And finally, all giving records and receipts are kept confidential. If you ever have questions about your giving to CCPC, please contact us. Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church (CCPC) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.
ACH Withdrawal
Did you know you can contribute to your church without writing a check? You can automatically (after setup) have your tithe & offerings deducted, with no effort on your part! You can opt to have a pre-determined amount automatically withdrawn from your bank account and deposited into CCPC's account through a very secure process called an ACH funds transfer. This process is used by banks all the time. You can even choose the date you want the gift withdrawn on - the 5th or 20th of the month - or you can choose to have an amount withdrawn for both dates. There is information available in the Narthex along with the authorization form. Or you can access the form here. You can mail this form to Tina Squires attention, put it directly in the safe by the church office, or in Tina Squires mailbox. Contact Tina at x 5210 if you have any questions.
Stock Donations
To make Stock Donations to CCPC please send the following information to your broker. CCPC’s Schwab Account #2263-2930 Panorama Branch. DTC # (Depository Trust Company Number) 0164, Code 40. Also, please communicate the name of the asset, the number of shares, the day the asset was transferred from your account to CCPC and which church fund you would like your donation to go to (Operating, Deacons, Vision 1.8) and the full name of the individual or individuals that the donation is from. This can be done either by e-mail or in writing to the attention of Tina Squires.
IRA & 401K Gifting
There may be tax advantages when donating from your IRA or 401K. Please check with your Plan Administrator for details on how to do this. Please allow your Plan Administrator time to process your request so that CCPC receives your gift in time. If you have questions about making a contribution, contact Tina Squires at x 5210.
Year End Statements and Stock Donations
Wondering why your year end statement isn't showing the value of your stock? The IRS says that a church is not an appraiser and should not provide donors with a dollar value for donated stock. Instead, we are to provide a receipt that acknowledges the date of gift, the donor's name, the name of the stock, and the number of shares given. Please contact your Tax Professional concerning any IRS forms (i.e. Form 8283, etc.), questions and appraisals that are needed.
