Spring Schedule:
February 12 - Cherub Choir (preschool) will sing in Worship I and Worship II.
March 4 - Cantus and Chorister Choirs (1st-6th grades) will sing in Worship I and Worship II.
March 28 - Chiors are meeting,even though it is Spring Break for Awana. We will meet 5:45-6:30 as there is no dinner served at church that night.
April 1 (Palm Sunday) - Cherub, Cantus, Chorister Choirs will sing in Worship I and Worship II.
April 4 - No choir due to Holy Week
*Saturday, April 14, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Choristers Guild Festival at Our Father Lutheran Church, 6335 S. Holly St., Centennial, Co. (for 2nd-6th graders)
May 6 - Cherub, Cantus, Chorister Choirs will sing in Worship I, Worship II, and will present our Spring Program at a retirement community at 2 or 3 p.m. I will let you know the exact time of the program as soon as I make arrangements.
May 9 - Final night of choir (plans will follow)

Choristers Guild Festival is an exciting opportunity for our children to sing with 150 singers from other churches in Colorado. In the next few months, we will be teaching five anthems to the Cantus and Chorister singers, and these will be sung at the Festival. Cherry Creek Presbyterian hosted the Festival last year, and this year it will be at Our Father Lutheran. Participating children arrive at the church at 9 a.m., and we rehearse these five anthems with an outstanding clinician, Dr. Michael Bedford, have snacks and lunch together, then present the anthems in a worship service at 2 p.m. You are invited to attend the service. Rocky Mountain Choristers Guild is celebrating 60 years of Festivals this year, so the worship service will be followed by cake for everyone! Our church pays the cost of participation, so there is no cost to you. I look forward to hearing that you want your child to come to the Festival, so please let me know soon, or at the latest, by March 1.
