CROSSTraining

crosstraining9-1CROSSTraining is a Kids Spiritual Formation Class for our 1st - 5th Graders.

Sundays from 9:50-10:50 AM.

Come be a part of experiential learning as children spend each week in a different workshop that reaches them in their areas of giftedness.  CROSStraining is an innovative rotation workshop format that seeks to create more meaningful and lasting connections to concepts, scripture, and life applications using a multi-faceted learning approach.  Children will learn through art, drama, cooking, storytelling, computer, missions and many other themed workshops.  They find God every week and see how the True events and people in the Bible speak to them today and learn how the Holy Spirit continues to work in their own lives.  Every story points to Jesus as our Redeemer.

Each year is comprised of 6 units that are each 6 weeks in length.  Come see why parents and children alike are raving about the beauty and depth of the program!

Why CROSStraining?

We know children were created in the image of God, and therefore learn through a variety of mediums called Multiple Intelligences, as defined by Howard Gardner.  We also know that children need to hear and apply scripture, concepts, stories, and objectives mulitple times and in different ways before they can truly internalize and apply the lessons learned to their own lives and in relationship with Jesus Christ.  We want our children to not just know about God, but to truly know the author of creation and lover of our souls in a deeply personal way.
