Making and becoming wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ
CROSSROADS
Our 2011-2012 theme is Crossroads. Last year we "Merged" with Christ and the Church Body: This year, we will be focusing on how to stay merged with Him when we come to a Crossroads of life. Our daily walk is filled with crossroads - some small, others large - which we must discern through with the help of Christ and those around us.
"This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."
-Jeremiah 6:16a

PURPOSE
INTRODUCE students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"
-Romans 10:14-15
DEVELOP students' personal relationship with Jesus Christ
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of hte Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
-Matthew 28:19-20
EQUIP students to be a living testimony for Christ in every aspect of their lives
"All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
-2 Timothy 3:16-17
CONNECT students into the body of Christ at CCPC
"For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body -- whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free -- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."
-1 Corinthians 12:13
All HONOR and praise to God!
"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ -- to the glory and praise of God."
-Philippians1:9-11
