Our newest DVD series, Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything by Timothy Keller, covers the heart of the Gospel in our individual lives, our part in the church, and our place in the world. Each of the 8 sessions includes a 10 minute DVD presentation plus group discussion. Ideally, each participant has a book to do about an hour's home study for each class (books are $11 each) but it might also be done with just leader preparation. A copy of the study book is included in the kit.
Chosen by God, by R. C. Sproul, consists of 6 sessions with a 30-minute presentation and discussion questions. Dr. Sproul winsomely clarifies our confusion and worries about the doctrine of predestination, and the implications of God's sovereignty, the Fall, free will, and God's justice. Our kit includes a book with an outline of the presentation plus Bible study and discussion questions. The leader could use this, but it would be best for each participant to have a copy to write in ($7 each).
To have more face-time with your group, use one of our Bible study guide books. These are on their own shelf, with light blue labels. Our newest will take you through Colossians and Philemon in 10 lessons. Each person with his own book ($13) can do 5 brief lessons for each group meeting, or the leader can guide everyone through at the meeting. Simply titled Colossians and Philemon it is spiral bound, so should be easy to find on the shelf.
