Children's Choirs
We have three children’s choirs, overseen and directed by Sally DeFehr: the Cherubs (4-5 years), Cantus (1st – 3rd grade), and the Choristers (4th-6th grade). These choirs sing every 4-6 weeks in Worship I and Worship II, as well as for larger musical productions during Christmas and in the spring. Solos, Other Ensembles and Special Music
Douglas and Zac enjoy regularly facilitating the organization and planning for soloists and instrumentalists who desire to offer special music in our worship services. Such music usually takes place in Preludes, Postludes, Offertories, or during Communion. Many have come in the past with music and organized small chamber choirs, women’s and men’s choruses, string ensembles, brass groups, wind ensembles, and other creative arrangements. Our leaders welcome the use of solo and ensemble music in Worship I and Worship II, and we’d be glad to talk with you about the potential of using your gifts!
